Mom
Pamela (an INTJ) was born in Washington DC when her mom worked for a Rocket Scientist at the Pentagon. She grew up in Cincinnati, where she was surrounded by ‘true crime talk’ as her mom worked for The Department of Justice for 40 years! She has a degree in Business, put her time in Corporate America, did a 180, and landed in Charlotte, North Carolina where she was a licensed Massage Therapist for 15 years. She raised 2 amazing unenmeshed children, has been blessed with many grandchildren and now works for free as a granny nanny. During the pandemic, she became addicted to true crime podcasts…and said to Amanda, “Hey, we could do this…” and the rest is history! She has a passion for armchair psychology, enjoys gardening, hiking, yoga, traveling, racing, wine/wineries (Malbec specifically) and loves anything true crime!
Daughter
Amanda (an ISTJ) is a Midwestern transplant in the great state of North Carolina. She is a college graduate with degrees in Biology and Health Sciences as well as a minor in Chemistry. Her favorite classes were Forensic Science and Molecular Biology….hence the passion for true crime! Amanda spent 10+ years in corporate America with roles as a chemist and validation engineer. She now works with her husband as a business owner. Amanda's obsession with true crime podcasts came from her mom, Pamela, during the pandemic. Although true crime has always been an interest, the idea of podcasting was new. With no prior recording or editing experience, Amanda said "Sure, let's do a podcast!" Due to her lack of free time and the business ideas that keep coming to fruition, she currently has no hobbies other than podcasting and attending the occasional rock concert.
