2-Where Is She? The Murder of Lynnette Joy Simms (Dawson)

Today we head to Australia for the disturbing case of Lynnette Simms Dawson.  Lyn disappeared in 1982, abandoning her husband and two daughters for no apparent reason. Her case gained widespread attention due to suspicions surrounding her husband, Chris, who was a rugby league player and teacher at the time.  Lyn’s disappearance was the subject of a true crime podcast called "The Teacher's Pet," which reignited interest in the case. The case highlighted issues related to domestic violence and the challenges of solving a cold case 40 years later.  Lyn’s story lays bare failures in some of the institutions we’re supposed to trust most: education, law enforcement, and, in this case, marriage!
