26-Juan Carlos Garcia, CEO of Amazon Mexico, kills his wife, Abril Perez Sagaon

In today’s episode, we are covering a former CEO of Amazon Mexico who allegedly paid two hitmen $9,000 to gun down his estranged wife in 2019. Juan Carlos García, who has been on the run since the murder, has arrest warrants issued against him in 190 countries after he was accused of orchestrating the murder of his wife Abril Pérez Sagaón. Abril was shot in the head in her car by a motorcyclist in Mexico City in front of her two children days before a scheduled hearing for the divorce case. She filed for divorce after he tried to kill her in her sleep with a baseball bat and then beat her with it in 2019. Following the attack, the graphic images of her face covered in blood went viral on social media, sparking outrage in Mexico. Almost 10 months later, she was killed in cold blood on November 25th, a day marked by the UN as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, sparking massive outrage.
